Many of you ask me what color the blue shih tzu will end up. Below is typical, the blue color on mine often turn a beautiful light blond. Not all turn however, some stay the gray color they are born with. You can usually tell who is going to change and who isn't by looking at the color of the hair at the skin when you purchase them. Eye color is usually gold but can also be green but nose must remain blue (gray).

It has taken me a while, (two in a half years) but here are the latest photos of "General". He is the most amazing dog and I am convinced it is because of what you do as a breeder. I travel with him all over. He is now my fit model as I started a luxury dog company called Hedy Manon. I am making pet carriers that are actually handbags. I also have a cashmere collection. All of the products are made in Italy. The handbags retail from $675.00 - $1,200.00. The cashmere is from $175.00 - $250.00. I also have a dog bowl collection. I am looking to launch the company probably in May and will be in Hollywood Dog. General is of course my model for everything and will be seen in all ad shots.

Thank you for General. He is the perfect dog and an absolute joy for us. He is now dressed in the finest cashmere and carried in the most luxurious leather bags.

We named him Buddy and he is being completely spoiled by me and my three sons (and my husband even thinks he is adorable-total shocker!). Hi Dian,

I just want to thank you SO much for the lovely chat we had yesterday. I can tell how much you love your dogs. They are lucky to be with you, as your expertise and love in raising healthy puppies is readily apparent.

In our conversation you made the comment that God has been very good to you. I feel the same way, and, in fact, I feel God led me to you. After much searching, (days on computer and phone), I kept coming back to you. Even when my husband said we could find a breeder closer to home, I still kept returning to that lovely woman in Baton Rouge.

With God there is no such thing as coincidence, and Paul calling you just as you were giving me his phone number was a confirmation that I am following the right path. Paul said he has 2 black, male puppies, both under a month. One is going to be 6 lbs, and from the lineage of Colonel! How perfect is he? I will get a picture of him in the next few days, and can hardly wait!

You were very kind and generous to me, and certainly you are much appreciated. I will keep you posted on our adoption process. If it doesn't work out, I will again return to that "lovely woman in Baton Rouge."

Sophie has GOT to be the sweetest dog ever! I have had beagles my entire life, and Sophie has been the easiest dog to potty train, and her disposition is wonderful. Sophie is very curious and protective of infants and children. Sometimes I don't think she knows she is a dog... when my nieces and nephews come over, she thinks they are there JUST to play with her. And... honestly there is some truth to that. Having Sophie is like having a child, everyone asks

Tomorrow will be three weeks since biju joined our fam, & I cannot imagine life without him. He is so sweet that I am amazed. He has slept all night every night since he came home; & his favorite place is wherever we are. Wow, how time is a flyin. You would be so proud of our little boy. He's up to 2 pounds now and looks healthy as a horse........He is stocky and tough looking now (although still really little). ...... He is my absolute cuddle-bug. He loves toys more than any dog I've ever seen and he's joined at the hip with his brother, Pippin. He loves him so much he has to pee in exactly the same spot, so he's constantly walking under Pippin's raised leg and getting his head peed on. You were so right about size. Zazu is now up to 4 pounds, which is exactly what Pippin weighs, but Zazu looks like half the size. Body build really means more than weight......

He is such a good boy, and has the cutest personality.. And you were right... he is my shadow, he follows me everywhere I go and I love it!

He is more than I ever wanted.

You did such a great job with him, he was practically potty trained when we brought him home at 12 weeks. I chose to litter train him (the one for puppies by Purina) he got the hang of it in 1 day!!!!

I get so many compliments on him, especially on his stubby little body and beautiful coat!

Thanks again for bringing Gizmo into our lives...
